Level 2
Building Partnerships
to Overcome Prejudice ®

When participants leave Level One, they begin to recognize bigotry in its many forms. Too often they notice it "showing up" in many people and places. What to do about it becomes a dilemma. Level 2 participants are shown how to tackle prejudice, starting with bigoted remarks. They are taught a non-confrontational method to foster understanding and change in the bigot.

Level 3
Strategic Planning
to Overcome Racism ®

After participants can easily recognize racial prejudice and racism, and can take personal action in addressing such dynamics as bigoted remarks, they need to go to a deeper level of understanding and action. They need to be able to go from the personal level to the institutional level. Our Level Three program shows participants how to more thoughtfully and deliberately address institutional change.

Level 4
Addressing Internalized Oppression ®

A result of systemic discrimination is that groups targeted by misinformation and mistreatment often internalize the misinformation and hurtful behaviors, come to believe them, and then mistreat themselves and members of their own group in a similar way.  This internalized conditioning has a long-term impact and is often used to justify further mistreatment.
