Supporting Membership
Supporting members are those individuals and organizations who may or may not have completed Level 1: Understanding the Impact of Prejudice and Race, or Level 2: Partnership Building to Overcome Prejudice.
These members may:
Participate in programs for Level 1 attendees and may serve as on committees for the Operating Council Create opportunities for HONN programs and speakers; Provide financial support through dues and donations; Provide scholarships for program participants, for establishing workshop sites, etc. Receive a discount on Chapter Program fees.
Institutional Membership
Institutional Members of a local Network Chapter are those local organizations and businesses whose goals and missions include the recognition of the oneness of humankind, the need to overcome prejudices in both words and deeds, and who wish to join as a whole to become an Institutional Member of HONN.
Institutional Member privileges include all of those privileges of Supporting Members. Institutional Members may host HONN programs and provide full or partial scholarship for their own employees/members to participate.
Action Membership
Action members are those members in good standing who have completed Level 3: Strategic Planning to Overcome Racism, who continue to support their Chapters and communities.
Action members may:
Elect or serve on the Chapter Board of Trustees; Serve as Chapter Executive Director, as Chapter Delegate, or as a Director on the Chapter Operating Council, Be elected to serve on the National Board of Trustees or serve on the National Operating Council, Train and serve as a Program Facilitator and Be designated to represent the Chapter or the National HON Network in a public arena.
Action Members in good standing are those whose public words and deeds reflect a striving toward the elimination of personal prejudice, the recognition of the oneness of humanity, and a desire to work for justice and unity.
