I want to attend further training with Healing Our Nation, but my workplace or organization cannot sponsor me. What can I do to arrange financing for further training?
Healing Our Nation offers some partial and full scholarships for each training session. You might also seek a sponsor for your training. Typical sponsors include civic organizations, church or religious organizations, fraternities or sororities, local businesses, or social clubs. If you can arrange sponsorship for all 4 levels of Healing Our Nation training, you can apply to receive training to become a certified facilitator. With this training, you become not only an asset to the sponsoring organizations, making this a good investment for the sponsors, but you can help form a Network chapter and offer your services as a Healing Our Nation diversity trainer to other groups in the community.

My company would like to have a certified Healing Our Nation facilitator on staff. How would I go about becoming certified?
Healing Our Nation provides four levels of training. When a participant in the program has completed three levels of training it is possible to apply for and receive training to become a certified Healing Our Nation facilitator for community work through the formation of a Network chapter or through our for-profit division of Healing Our Nation.

Since the effectiveness of the training depends on having two certified facilitators of different ethnic backgrounds presenting the program, once I have been certified by the program, how would I locate other facilitators?

Healing Our Nation has recognized and anticipated the need for graduates of each level of training and certified facilitators to maintain contact and to work as allies for social change in their community by organizing Healing Our Nation Network Chapters. These local chapters allow for networking, support, and ongoing educational training for Healing Our Nation graduates and other community organizations with similar missions to continue working to address mutual areas of concern for institutional and personal change. We publish a newsletter for our graduates and we also sponsor national activities to support the work of all those engaged in healing our nation, one heart at a time.

I would like to participate in further Healing Our Nation training, but I cannot get time off from work. Are there weekend seminars?
Yes. We arrange weekend training.
